Trump è tornato. Von der Leyen no.
Ma non è lì che passa il senso.
C’è qualcosa che cambia, senza gridare.
Un assetto che si sposta sotto i piedi di chi ancora crede nella solidità delle forme.
La geografia politica non si organizza più attorno al centro.
Si struttura sulle soglie, sugli attriti, sulle intermittenze.

I movimenti che non hanno nome
Non sono alleanze, non sono rotture.
Sono accostamenti mobili, convergenze che non si firmano, ma operano.
Un dossier ambientale passa da Roma a Rabat senza transitare per Bruxelles.
Una strategia sull’acqua nasce a Lione, si evolve a Lagos, si perfeziona a Vancouver.
Dove si è spostata la governance?
I soggetti formali restano. Ma le forze si spostano altrove.
La geografia che emerge non chiede consenso.
Chiede passaggi.
L’Europa si slega. E trova respiro
Non c’è più un baricentro.
Ci sono direzioni preferenziali.
- Il Mediterraneo interno come bacino logistico e cognitivo.
- L’Europa orientale come poligono di resistenza strategica.
- Il Nord Europa che si stringe in una razionalità tecnica, disillusa ma resistente.
” Non è frammentazione.
È un altro ordine“.
Un ordine che non si lascia classificare.
Che si struttura come un grafo: percorsi, intersezioni, zone cieche.
La fine della verticalità
I modelli che reggevano il discorso pubblico stanno cedendo:
- il bipolarismo destra/sinistra,
- il centro come luogo di equilibrio,
- la differenziazione come gradazione controllata.
Oggi si affermano discontinuità improvvise, innescate da zone marginali.
Non si avanza per aggregazione. Si salta.
Chi ha ancora bisogno di gradualità, perde il ritmo.
Chi osserva i punti di flesso, li attraversa.
“Nodi”: architetture che non chiedono permesso
Un nodo non è un compromesso.
È un campo di forza temporaneo, dove qualcosa può accadere.
Nessun nodo è neutro.
Tutti sono frutto di una scelta implicita: stare in un luogo che produce direzione, senza volerlo dominare.
La vera politica oggi si gioca qui:
nella capacità di intuire dove passano le tensioni, e di essere lì prima che si definiscano come “eventi”.
Se la storia non ha più un asse, da dove comincia una strategia?
Chi oggi cerca risposte nelle capitali, nelle percentuali, nei ruoli,
sta interrogando un mondo già svanito.
Eppure qualcosa si muove.
Qualcosa genera forma, anche nel disordine.
La domanda è:
sei disposto a seguire le fratture, senza sapere dove portano?
Perché è lì che si costruisce il futuro.
Fuori asse. Lateralmente.

Trump is back. Von der Leyen is not.
But that’s not where meaning lies.
Something is shifting, quietly.
An arrangement moves beneath the feet of those who still believe in the solidity of forms.
Political geography no longer organizes around the center.
It forms along thresholds, frictions, and intermittences.
This is the time of the “nodes”. (R. Galano)
The movements without a name
They are not alliances, nor are they fractures.
They are mobile proximities, convergences that remain unsigned, but operative.
An environmental dossier moves from Rome to Rabat without passing through Brussels.
A strategy on water is born in Lyon, evolves in Lagos, and refines itself in Vancouver.
Where has governance relocated?
Formal actors remain. But the forces are shifting elsewhere.
The emerging geography doesn’t seek consensus.
It seeks passages.
Europe is loosening, and learning to breathe
There is no longer a center of gravity.
There are preferential directions.
The inner Mediterranean as a logistical and cognitive basin.
Eastern Europe as a polygon of strategic resistance.
Northern Europe closing ranks in a technical rationality, disillusioned yet resilient.
“This is not fragmentation.
It is a different order.”
An order that refuses classification.
That structures itself like a graph: paths, intersections, blind spots.
The end of verticality
The models that once sustained public discourse are collapsing:
- the left/right binary,
- the center as a point of balance,
- differentiation as a controlled gradient.
Today, abrupt discontinuities emerge—triggered by marginal zones.
Progress no longer comes through aggregation. It leaps.
Those who still need gradualness lose the rhythm.
Those who observe the inflection points, cross them.
“Nodes”: architectures that don’t ask permission
A node is not a compromise.
It is a temporary field of force, where something can happen.
No node is neutral.
Each is the result of an implicit choice:
to stand in a place that produces direction—without trying to dominate it.
This is where real politics happens today:
in the ability to sense where tensions are moving, and to be there before they declare themselves as “events”.
If history no longer has an axis,
Where does a strategy begin?
Those still searching for answers in capitals, in percentages, in titles—
are questioning a world that has already vanished.
And yet something is moving.
Something is taking form, even amid disorder.
The question is:
Are you willing to follow the fractures, not knowing where they lead?
Because that’s where the future is built.
Off-axis. Laterally.
